Speaking to my experience managing what's possibly technech and TMJ issues. I'm still experimenting with lots of things. For me it totally depends on the day so far. I don't like how zanaflex makes me feel and it's far to easy to accidentally over do it. Meloxicam (kind of like asprin)+certain kava's (for example) so far much better. Eua for me was great for some parts of it. I'm also doing yoga, TaiChi and quigon two-three times a day. Might as well say the name Specia (however that's spelled) as far as I know has all sorts of issues. I simply don't know enough about it to comment one way or the other. I also simply don't know personally what the science says about different Kava strains for pain management.
My experience has been hit and mis. When it's goes well some kinds of Kava's like Tuvanie's Secrete (for example), or Papa Kea in the evevening were just right. Tavanie's secret rocks for what it is, same for Kumukua. at being pleasent and helpful for managing likely TMJ problems. And that is truly great. I don't like Meloxicam durring the week. I keep it for huge problem. But I also Acupuncture, and keep some Magic Goops I to rub on my shoulder, nech and jaw.
Getting a bit Krunked in the evening or with Extra Strong KavaBrandKava is possibly ok. That's what I loved about Eua, and Tvani's secret is a little like it. I prefer to start with that and Ibuprfone. see if that does the trick (for example) On the other hand the Co-op's KavaBrandKava is awesome for managing stress. A bit to much of it and I get more goofy than usual, wich for helping managing a collaboration space is fine. Still trying to start my own as well.
You are right thoug
There are zero non-addictive pain killers for treating moderate to severe pain. Our fearless leader, as usual, knows very little about which he's talking.
Kava might be the best non-addictive anxiolytic imo, and I think it works okay for pain relief. I don't think it works for more severe types of pain though.
I think it would be interesting to explore using kava in conjunction with different painkillers. While kava won't replace them, I bet it could help people reduce their dosages or at least decrease their reliance on addictive pain killers.
^ My experience has been some Kava roots are perfect for what you're talking about. You nailed it. 6-7 months ago when I firstgot new symptoms of TechNech I tried all sorts of things. Some of them just a bad idea.Sufficed to say. You're right. At least in my case. I've managed to go from ibuprofene+asprin almost daily from tension headaches making technech worse. I meen it's already some Klingons singing out of key. But now they at least agree on what saga to sing. And I do start with Kava Daily. Litterally. I kicked to day off with some breakfast and some Fridge Kava, and instead of 20MG of Meloxicam (wich is a reeely large dose) It was down to about 7-9MG (half a tab) for example and I'm still feely reeeely REEEEELY just awesome. I've all but cut out Zanaflex as it's just not safe IMO. Compared to a little (ok a lot) goofy with some Kavas and possibly napping and Waking up feeling fantastic and in a mood for funny Movies?
I'll take: What's a Happy silly napping drink for 50-60 per 1lb or 1/2 Kilogram Alex?
