Indeed it is, as I can verify as a frequent consumer. It is a great heady kava.

With respect to the OP, I've received bad batches once in awhile from multiple vendors. Chris from GHK has been known to accidentally ship out the wrong product on occasion.

The OP states he has purchased with positive experience batches of Nambawan (that's why he bought some more of it). He is just claiming this one doesn't seem to be totally right. Shit happens and I'm sure Judd will make it right if there is something wrong.

Right, I wasn't trying to dismiss OPs concern's. As I have said, I think it has to do with him using a 10 micron filter, which produces the amazingly yellow stuff in the first picture. Possibly the later batch was not such a fine grind or something so that it didn't do as well with such a small micron filter.

I ordered some Nambawan from BKH yesterday. Its my first order from BKH and so its my first order of Nambawan. I am really looking forward to trying some of this legendary kava as everyone seems to love it.

Nambawan is truly a strong kava! Been digging the Hawaiians and fijians lately but nambawan rocked my world! @JuddRench will you ever be able to source anymore koniak? I know it is not noble but I really enjoyed it when I had it. Only got one pound over a year ago.....so now it is a distant memory.

I'm willing to bet if you PM any of the vendors here, they will go out of there way to help you out.

just because it's not on their web site, doesn't mean they don't sell it.
