I rocked through a pound each of Kula and Nambawan the last few weeks. Just mixed them half and half. I was a little disappointed honestly in the Tongan varieties I've had since I prefer the headier, euphoric effects of Kava and that's what Tongan types are supposed to be apparently. I felt like the Nambawan helped bring those things out much better for both Kula and Eua.

I have limited experience with this but so far it's been really promising: I use a small amount of KWK Vula Waka and extend it with BKH Nambawan. Typically it's something between a 1:2 ratio and 1:4 KWK:BKH, it gives me way stronger effects than the Vula Waka did alone, and indescribably more effects than the nambawan alone in the same concentration.

Mo'i/Hanakapi'ai is indeed a killer mix.
Damn! I really like Mahakea bumped up with Moi or down with Nene. Moi with Hanakap'ai sounds like I would need to set aside a full krunk day to enjoy that holy mix!
Another one that got me good was Squanch with Hanakap'ai. It was not necessarily on purpose or right at the same time but due to finishing a bag and then mixing up a new batch right after. Fell asleep on the couch, wife left me there, and I woke up around 2am and could barely make my feet work enough to find my bed. Good thing I could sleep in the next morning and woke so utterly refreshed it was near heavenly.

Dogends of bags make for some interesting blends, for sure. I like to let serendipity do!

Just did a second wash of damu with some older, lawena-y borongoru. The borongoru has a mild taste yet it's a real sleeper, where you'll end up couch locked eventually. Cutting the damu with something else really brought out the damu flavor without making it the taste too strong. Yeah, the Fijian tastes milder than the ni-Vanuatu root, paradoxically.

I mixed it on the thin side cause it tastes nice and I'm sure it'll kick like a horse eventually. Until then... bula.

My only blending exp. is on 50/50 Squanch Waka and Lawena. It's a fine combination, 2 tbs of each hits the spot.

Cool thread! Necessity forced tonight mix . Aluball double balling when my Kava Time's Taveuni's Secret ran out having just enough for one ball. The other one BHK's Nangol Noble. It was indeed a happy accident. Nice heady krunk in these parts this evening!
