Update on International Shipping (things are getting much better)

Just wanted to quickly updaste you guys on the international shipping situation. As many of you experienced, during the worst moments of the Covid-19 chaos shipping times between NZ and the USA/Europe/Asia got crazy (our average for packages ordered in April was up to 2 months!). I am happy to report that things have gotten much better more recently. Our average for packages sent within the last month is just 1 week for Asia and 2 weeks for Europe and North America. It seems that NZ Post have found a solution to the lack of passenger planes and things are normalising. Hopeflly we'll soon go back to the pre-covid delivery targets of just 6 working days for North America and Continental Europe and 5 working days for the UK and Asia.
The bad news is that the improvements have come at a cost. NZ Post have pretty dramatically increased the cost of international shipping and we've had no choice but to pass these increases onto customers. However, to even things out a bit, we've managed to lower the price of at least some of the kava (especially the Pacific Elixir and instant). Thanks to everyone who has been supporting our ltitle part-time shop in this difficult time.

Any chance you can export some of NZ's sanity regarding Covid-19 to the US?:)

Thanks for the update! It's great to hear that shipping times are improving and getting closer to normal, even though it's been a tough time for everyone. It's definitely a relief to know that the delays from last year are mostly behind us. I completely understand the need to pass on the increased shipping costs, but it's good to hear you've been able to adjust some prices on the kava as well. I appreciate the transparency, and I’ll continue supporting the shop. Wishing you all the best as things continue to normalize.
