The stuff is great on dry skin of any kind. Overkill maybe, but very effective. I'm going to mix up a very weak batch of it added to one of my wife's body creams and apply it to one side, see what happens.I doubt it, unless dermopathy is actually an opportunistic fungal infection of some sort.
I bet it would work, because it contains triamcinolone acetonide. I can use the tiniest bit of that stuff diluted and it wipes out dermopathy with one application.I have a cream that I have to occasionally use on my face, named Kenacomb, because I have an occasional bout of seborrheic dermatitus. It only flares up during winters here in the USA when the air is dry. If I'm in a tropical climate, I have no issues at all. But if it does flare up, the cream will completely eliminate it.
I wonder if it would work on this kava dermopathy? I bet it would, but it's super expensive and I'm not too anxious to use half a tube spreading all over my body for an experiment. I'll have to get some of this Amlactin stuff, although like someone else said earlier in their thread, I also hate the feel of anything greasy on my skin.
What stuff is it that you are using specifically? Is it something I can purchase without prescription?I bet it would work, because it contains triamcinolone acetonide. I can use the tiniest bit of that stuff diluted and it wipes out dermopathy with one application.
What were you toss and washing? After promptly ignoring all the great advice in this thread, I acquired the worst case of dermopathy I've ever had thanks to a little help from toss and wash, and I'm finally ready to try keeping lotion on.
Holy hell this stuff burns when you put it on.
Various micronized products. Of course I blame myself for continuing to drink through it but, it is the worst I've ever had. What were you toss and washing?
Don't forget who else made that suggestion @Roaddog hahahaWell @violet , told me to try coconut oil, and wow, it dose help. In my opinion, its better than the lotions. It only takes like a teaspoon, to cover your entire body. Plus I like to take a spoon full in the mouth too. It tastes so good. you can even put it on your face. It has a hard time whipping off, so it stays on you. Much love. Roaddog....
Haha. "New non-greasy forumla!"
I struggled with the same apprehension ~ ~~ ~ ~Edit- I have to say @shakas I could've been much more immature, but I stopped myself.....barely
I get it outside of the USA, brand name, and it's super cheap, well super cheap compared to here. It's only like $3 a tube. Here the same stuff was $70 last time I bought it. I'm all stocked up on it now. Probably enough to last 20 years, unless I start using it for kava induced dermop.@HeadHodge You need a script for it in the US. One of the brand names it comes under is Kenalog. The generic is super cheap.
Yes you did remind me too. Thank you so much. Much love. Roaddog....Don't forget who else made that suggestion @Roaddog hahaha.
But yes coconut oil can do wonders for the skin once applied and soaked in.
With 1,000's of more uses it really is the magic oil.
Oddly enough, the only dermopathic symptoms that use to arise would occur only on my hands and never any where else; so everyone seems to be different in that respect, and it would only occur when I'd seriously concentrate my grog, which I stopped doing shortly after the signs of it progressing.
It's been awhile since I've had to endure the struggles of dermopathy, but I also haven't thought about it enough to pin down just why that is.
W/e the reason, my first micronized is treating me wonderfully, and the ease of use is a privilege I'm trying to not abuse.
It's Friday night, everyone enjoy a heavy shell if you can!
If it becomes necessary, keep anearby.
