If you want my opinion it is definitely worth it but everyone has their own level of hassle they're willing to go through in order to pursue an idea. For me the fact that I no longer drink alcohol daily makes it completely worthwhile. There was a guy who lives in London that had a letter from Coventry council of all people asking about his parcel of kava. How it got there on his way to him I have no idea. I've had kava delivered to London and South Wales with no problems. I can only think that you've been unlucky. At least you have some other options so you can at least try it. If you find that it really is something for you then your hassle tolerance will rise accordingly.
If you think about it there are so many parcels coming into the UK they can't check more than a handful of them manually. You can use dogs or other devices to sniff for drugs and explosives but although kava has a very distinctive smell once it is packaged it's not going to smell as strong and of course it wouldn't flag up as something dodgy anyway.
It's a shame that your BKH kava didn't get to you. I have had numerous kava's from them and never had one confiscated.
Have you had a letter to say it's been confiscated? Each time mine has been held at the local sorting office it's because i have to go in and pay a customs fee. I have often had a letter to say it's being held due to a customs charge.

That's sh!+..... I Have just taken a delivery from Kalm With Kava and that is also on the packet but fortunately that came through.

The annoying gripe is the loss of money i guess as i would be also.
Maybe order via the stackry.com route as Edward uses this and it is proving very good.

Hey! Just caught up with this thread. I'm coming over to Derby in May (visit family). So far I've had no problem bringing kava with me (I come over twice a year). Want me to bring some for you and use your local mail to get some delivered?

I have ordered with Kwk a week ago, I hope my order gets through.I would like to order from Gke but they don't have the strains I want
I have had multiple orders from kwk with no problems. Mind you I have from bkh too. I think there may be a problem with the Midlands customs with getting kava through?

I've ordered direct from kavafied and kwk multiple times with no problems. It seems there could be an issue for people living in the Midlands? Maybe the customs around that way are more on the ball? I don't know yet, going to have to wait and see if there are any more reports of parcels being stopped. I've ordered from all of the vendors directly and never had a problem but stackry was good for those vendors who do not ship direct.
